Laid-Up Tarpon: This is a unique pattern for a unique situation casting to a Laid-Up Tarpon. In this situation Tarpon are holding suspended in the water almost motionless. In this situation it is usually difficult to get them to eat the fly , but not impossible. We like to use a Monocore intermediate fly line that helps suspend the fly at the same depth of the tarpon. This shrimpy looking offering is just the ticket for what a tarpon would consider a quick snack. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
