Rattlin Mullet: This is a terrific Redfish pattern from Ron Mayfield. The Rattle Mullet has small glass bubble rattles tied in the body that create sound and vibration for Redfish to track. This means it is an ideal choice for murky water or low light conditions. It has a very minnow-like appearance with large doll eyes and gill slits to emphasize its resemblance to a baitfish. This pattern is on everyone's short-list for backcountry and costal fly fishing for Redfish and Trout. It also is a good Snook pattern for casting into Mangrove pockets.
