Grassy Wonder was designed by the famous fishing great Winston Moore; who according to his Fishing Log has caught over 6000 bonefish on fly. He also designed a similar pattern named Agent Orange (renamed Agent Bonefish) that is also tied without bead chain or lead eyes like this pattern. The Grassy Wonder is just about a must take for Belize and the Yucatan for fishing the shallow water grassy flats that abound. This is a generic shrimp imitation that is designed to suggest the many small shrimp species that inhabit grassy flats including; Palaemonidae, Gnatophyllidae and Hippolytidae. This fly makes a delicate landing and as such is just perfect for bright calm days on shallow sunny flats. We are currently updating our inventory and not accepting new orders.
