The fly that doesn't know weather it is coming or going has been working magic for many years.

Here is a very uniquely designed attractor pattern that has palmered hackle collars both front and aft. This dual hackle design makes for a very strong floating fly that rides high in the water. It has a very insect-like appearance that is fecundated by the peacock her body and the dual impression it makes in the surface film. This fly can also be fished very effectively as a wet fly. I often fish it dry and at the end of the float pull it under and let it swing through the downstream side of my position in the stream a tactic that often produces a hook up. Although this pattern has built its reputation out West it belongs wherever trout live.
