San Juan Worm: Nothing really fancy here but a very effective pattern. The San Juan Worm was originally tied to imitate an aquatic species of earthworm (Oligochaete) and not your standard garden earthworm. Oligochaete species come in a variety of sizes (0.25" to 5.0") and colors with red, white and brown most common. The natural does not really swim so this pattern should be fished in a dead drift fashion.
