Pale Morning Dun: This is the famous Mayfly Genus Ephemerella, Species: infrequens, inermis and lacustris. A very prolific aquatic insect, PMD hatches can run from late spring to early October making them an important Western Mayfly. As the name implies this is usually a morning hatch (water temperature trigger 55-60 degrees) with a duration of several hours.
