Q's Beach Bug: Here is yet another Pacific Mole Crab (Hippa analoga) imitation from the talented Surf vise of Al Quattrocchi. The pacific Mole Crab is one of the mainstay prey species in the Surf Zone. Sand Crabs make up a large percent of the diet of the Surf Perch and this is an excellent pattern for this spunky Surf dweller. As with most Mole Crab imitations there is Orange fish fur tied in the butt section to imitate an egg sac. This is a just suburb Surf Pattern that deserves use often.
