Gray Drake - Paradrake

There are about 20 individual species of Gray Drakes (6 are most important to anglers)in the genus Siphlonurus with many of them hatching from morning through midday in slow, shallow water stretches of stream within a temperature range of 60-63F degrees. Several days after hatching spinner falls occur usually starting at dusk and carrying on into the early evening. Some spinner falls are dense depending on conditions and trout can become very selective when feeding on both spinner falls and the hatch itself. This paradrake imitation is the right size range (12-14) and color to imitate most species in this genus.
