Lake Dragon: This is just a terrific Dragonfly nymph imitation of the Order Odonata. These are large and substantial creatures growing to almost two inches in length. Prior to hatching, Odonata nymphs swim towards the banks or shore with a distinctive wiggle as they look for vegetation to crawl up on. Fishing this nymph in from deeper water is a good tactic but remember the natural mover very slowly. This is a great summer pattern and a must for all types of lakes. Also an excellent carp pattern.
